Hi. I'm Brittany.

- In-Progress: Master's of Science, Clinical Mental Health Counseling

- Certified Professional Life Coach, ADHD & Executive Function

- Bachelor's of Science - Computer Science, Minor: Mathematics

Currently, I'm working on my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and plan to gain licensure in California for Licensed Professional Clinical Counseling (LPCC). I still maintain my career in Technology, where I serve as IT Project Manager and lead an IT Support team for a large Bay Area Real Estate Brokerage.

Before my career in technology, I explored many path options, including entrepreneurship, photography, service industry, and I even tried veterinary technician! Part of that is because I too have ADHD! I just want to learn everything. Also, once I became an adult, I suddenly had no idea what I wanted to do. Endless options can be scary!

What's my Story?

I grew up in the Bay Area, California. During my childhood and teen years, I experienced serious academic struggles and somehow all my teachers were baffled that I had "so much potential" yet performed like a complete f*ck-up. Apparently all these red flags looked more like a carnival than a problem.

It wasn't until I was 26 that I was diagnosed with Hashimotos Thyroiditis, and in my early-30's I was diagnosed with CPTSD and ADHD.

This is when I would finally begin my own healing and growth.

Growing up I wanted to be a teacher! That obviously changed, but I still loved teaching informally. I wanted to share the things I spent years trying to find. Because even today, there isn't enough support for these "So much potential" kids who later became adults that didn't quite understand their purpose.

Over the course of my life, I have experienced, endured, grown from, and healed from so many things. Abject poverty, childhood trauma, difficulty breaking generational cycles, etc. I say this because I want to be transparent. I also want my prospective clients, from similar backgrounds, to know that they are seen.

Why choose to be a coach?

It is difficult to fully grasp a person's barriers, abilities, and environment if you have not experienced these things for yourself.

You are not hopeless or broken.
We are all a work in progress.
